JKVM has played an important role in highlighting the plight of Kashmiri Pandits and raised issues faced by them with concerned Government agency on time to time basis. The representations made to different authorities include:

• Repeated representation to Election Commission of India for issues related to enrolment of voters and for making the voting process easy for KP voters.
• Representation with Home Minister &MoS Home for issues regarding genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, Return & Rehabilitation, etc
• Representation to Joint Parliamentary Committee of Home for review of Rehabilitation of KPs for various short term and long-term issues of Kashmiri Pandits.
• Representation to Minorities Affairs Minister for declaring KPs as ethnic minorities and extending benefits to them.
• Representation to HDR Minister for issues pertaining to education of KPs
• Representation to External Affairs Minister for taking up issue of opening Sharda Peeth for Kashmiri Pandits with Pakistan.
