Geelani, an Islamic missionary is the worst enemy of Kashmiris

Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch ( JKVM) has taken serious note of the provocative and offensive utterances of SAS Geelani regarding the return and rehabilitation of displaced community.

Geelani, it must be underlined, is an extremist Islamist who aims to establish theocratic Islamist regime in the state of Jammu and Kashmir that has no place for non-Muslims or the pre-Islamic pluralistic culture of Kashmir. Geelani does not belong to Kashmir. His roots are far away and his ancestors have found refuge in the Land of Kashmir.

 His double standards in life are well-known. While he continues to enjoy benefits from the state of India including his health care and security expenses, yet he works against the interests of the nation. He protects his own family by keeping them away from the so called movement, but forces poor people of Kashmir onto the path of self annihilation. He is the person who is fundamentally responsible for the death and destruction in Kashmir. He is a hate monger guilty of the ethnic cleansing of Hindus of Kashmir valley.

 Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch cautions the people of state in general and Muslims in particular against intolerant & chauvinistic statements of Geelani. His attempt to remain relevant is bringing a bad name to the religion of Islam. Muslims of the state shall publicly condemn Geelani and disassociate from his xenophobic stand. Muslim Majority of the state must tell Geelani that he cannot be their representative.

 JKVM demands that government shall withdraw all facilities provided to this extremist on the expense of Indian exchequer. His liberty needs to be curbed. He in fact has lost all the rights to live in a civilized society.

 JKVM takes this opportunity to reaffirm the inalienable right of the displaced Kashmiris to return to the valley on their own terms and conditions and in a manner that suits them.
